Which restaurants would you recommend going to in either Birmingham, Manchester or London?

I would like to know which restaurants you like to go in the following places, Birmingham, Manchester or London. I would prefer these restaurants to be of high status, such as michelin-starred restaurants.Which restaurants would you recommend going to in either Birmingham, Manchester or London?
I can only speak for Manchester (not a resident but visitor.)

Manchester has a great China Town with budgets to suit all.

There is also a great Gay area near the canal that has fabulous restaurants.Near the railway station.Which restaurants would you recommend going to in either Birmingham, Manchester or London?
