The only time I see people watching TV in a restaurant is when the restaurant is a sports bar, and they've had TVs for decades. What I'm curious about is why regular restaurants are putting TVs in their dining rooms. They usually turn the sound off and nobody really watches them. What's the deal? Why are all restaurants installing televisions in their dining rooms?
They think it attracts attention.
The wait for food is usually long.
Tv's might attract someones attention and probably make them distracted and make their meal time wait seem shorter. Why are all restaurants installing televisions in their dining rooms?
people eat more when they watch tv or are otherwise occupied. The point is for them to make money.
