Fast food restaurants are supposed to serve their customers quickly. "Regular" restaurants customers usually don't expect to sit and eat within a few minutes. If the fast food restaurants offered a full menu selection all day long, customers would take longer to place their orders and the food prep area would get overwhelmed. Take a really good look at the food prep area the next time you're in a fast food restaurant. There's not a whole lot of room to work.
I have always preferred Mcdonalds breakfast but have currently switched over to Jack In The Box. They serve breakfast at any time. They dont lack in quality and seem to have an average prep area. Maybe other restaurants should follow their model

I think it has to do with the religion of the owner. Jewish-owned McDonalds serve breakfast all day, and Catholic-owned stores stop at noon - but Protestant ones can vary according to the shoe-size of the manager.

It depends upon your geographical area that particular franchise.Is like any other,they will sell what ever makes money.

McDonald's breakfast items around 11:30 a.m. any day over a burger and fries!!!
most construction workers where im from start taking lunch at 11:00 to avoid the 12:00 lunch hour
