My wife and I have eaten at Little Italy and McKinnons in Northville and a bunch of the chains like J. Alexanders and Bahama Breeze. We like Xochimilco in Mexican Village and Pegasus in Greek Town although we have eaten at most of the restaurants in those areas. We are always looking for good restaurants.
What are your favorites? What do you think are the Best Restaurants in the Detroit Area?
Good question. Try Slows in Detroit. It's newer and has a fantastic BBQ menu. Also Mon Jin Lau in Troy is the best Asian cuisine around. Street Side seafood in Birmingham is quite good for seafood.
Also try Five Lakes Grill in Milford.

Steve %26amp; Rocky's in Novi is amazing. The menu can change daily depending on what's available, lots of awesome seafood, and live music (pianist). It's got great atmosphere and is a very nice dinner out.

I live in th North burbs and frequent restaurants in my area. Some of my very favorites are Lily's Seafood in Royal Oak, Mitchell's Fish Market in Birmingham, Pizza Crust Wine Bar in Bloomfield Hills and Sangria's in Royal Oak. Sangria's features tapas and, you guessed it, amazing sangria. Also, if you are looking for AMAZING chinese food, head over to Wah Court in Windsor. Windsor also has a strip of authentic Italian restaurants that are to die for. Bon appetite!
