What are the good restaurants in Sacramento?

I am relocating to Sacramento with my family. I am just wondering where are the popular restaurants, that are laid back, and fun. I would like to apply, but I don't really know anything about Sacramento or what's out there. So any help would be appreciated! What are the good restaurants in Sacramento?
You got a few good answers here. My suggestion is the same as the first post, look at Sacramento Magazine's restaurant dining section.

Good descriptions, photos and location. You will find a lot of info there.
Table 260 downtown is a great place. High class, with good food. Sacramento cheap prints with quality at www.tracemediums.com.
