What is the dress code for the restaurants at the Sun Palace in Cancun?

I've seen a couple places that long pants and collared shirts are required at some of the restaurants. Is this enforced? Or can you get away with typical vacation attire (shorts, casual clothes)?What is the dress code for the restaurants at the Sun Palace in Cancun?
Each hotel and each restaurant in a hotel may have a different dress code but at the Sun Palace in the main dining room casual dress for the man long pants and collard shirts, for the woman, skirts, dresses, and long pants. Restaurants outside the motel also have dress codes.Of course there are casual restaurants at the hotel and all around Cancun. Next time come to Playa del Carmen just south of Cancun where I live we are more laid back down here.
