Where are most restaurants located in Chicago ?

I will be moving to Chicago and i enjoy eating at restaurants. Are there areas of Chicago only full of restaurants, more than others ?Where are most restaurants located in Chicago ?
There are a lot all over downtown. The magnificent mile area of Michigan AVe. has just about anything you can think of.
There are tons of restaurants all over Chicago plus Chicago has great public transportation so it is easy to get from neighborhood to neighborhood.

Most of the best and authentic restaurants are not in downtown Chicago. The downtown restaurants mostly cater to tourists.Where are most restaurants located in Chicago ?
Unless it's a neighborhood that is really economically struggling or an industrial area, you can bet on there being many restaurants around. There are new restaurants opening continually too. What type of restaurant is what makes the difference between areas mostly. Pretty much all over Chicago. Obviously, there are many downtown for those who are not adventurous enough to travel farther. I will say eating downtown may cost you more. I have lived in Chicago my entire life and I will tell you there is great food everywhere!!!
