Alot of restaurants use imported meat which draws conflict to many muslims who want to enjoy their favorite franchises. The reason is that the most traditional muslims do not trust non muslim countries with their meat. Furthermore they DO NOT care how strict the governemtn is Are there any saudi locals who can answer this??? Is there an easier way to find out?In saudi arabia how do you find out which restaurants buy their meat products locally or abroad?
Unfortunately I am not a saudi local who is answering this but the meat imported into saudi arabia is purely halal, because only muslims are entrusted with the job of providing meat to saudi arabia, there are many conditions attached to it like they have a muslim cleric who slaughters the animal and then certifies it later for export, the regulations for export to saudi arabia are very strict and there is no question of haram meat arriving in saudi arabia.
