What would you like to see in a restaurant that most restaurants do not already have?

What is something that you always hope to see in a restaurant that most restaurants do not already have? It can be anything from certain kinds of food to different kinds of entertainment, etc...What would you like to see in a restaurant that most restaurants do not already have?
A return to the small private rooms for couples who don't want distractions. Even the Japanese restaurants have gone to big open rooms full of tables and noise. It takes all the romance out of the night. Back in the 50s, private rooms for couples were much more common and you could have real privacy when eating your dinner and the restaurants didn't lose money at all...cuz it was a night out, not an assembly line mentality.
SMOKE FREE! most still have the bars or smoking sections. make them all smoke free. i don't want to breath smoke while i try to enjoy a good mealWhat would you like to see in a restaurant that most restaurants do not already have?
A Cigar Store Indian!
honestly an entertainment night that involves dancer and magic tricks.. lol
Most restaurant don't play music.I think most restaurants should play music to entertain there customer while they wait.
Good food, made with fresh ingredients.
SO glad you asked!!!!! A LOW-CARB bun for a hambuger!!!!! It is my wish that I can walk-in somewhere and order a hamburger and not have to eat it without a bun!!!! Basically anything low-carb is a plus... Most restaurants offer salads as their "low-carb" fare.... Uggggghhhhh!!!! I've been to one restaurant that offered low-carb tortillas and I was in heaven! I went all the time, just because of that, and then I moved to a different town... :( Thanks again for asking!!!!
Ceviche in the appetizers. It seems to be non existent! It is a very simple dish and quite healthy.
hand sanitizers and hand washing sinks - in the dining room
Home-made ice-cream, and waiters that don't have attitudes when they serve you.
I would like to see "adult" and "family" sections in upscale restaurants, so I don't have to put up with whining, squalling, overactive kids and their totally oblivious parents while my husband and I are trying to enjoy a relaxing meal.
A table in the kitchen where the chef prepares special food.
I agree that I want to see all resteraunts smoke free. It's really heartsinking when you see people dining in a really nice bit of the resteraunt like the window but when you get in you find that it's a smoking section and you have to sit in another part.

I have also only seen it in one resteraunt, but I would love to see some places to do a chilli and chocolate sauce. Less places doing versions of dishes that have been made more English and less like the dishes of the country. I especially hate that when chinese places do that. It totally ruins the dish.
Choice of spinach on my sandwich instead of lettuce.
I'd like to see Applebee's or some restaurant of that sort have exotic dancers while you eat!!! YEAH!!!!
I kind of like the hot towels to clean your hands with when you sit down, as done everywhere in Japan. It's very civilized.
More vegetarian options
AN ALL YOU CAN DRINK BAR...
I always am impressed to see real butter, good coffee and fresh cream. This is what makes a good restaurant great.

Lacking in any of these things will also make a reportedly great restaurant not so great in my book
I ALWAY S WANTED ARTICHOKES DEEP DISH PIZZA

AND A HOOKA LOUNGE WOULD BE NEAT!!
you know what i would like to see? those little jukeboxes at each table that they used to have in some diners and restaurants when i was growing up! of course they would have to have to play music from today!
I would like to watch the food prep / cooking. That way you know if there is any 'funny business' going on. Whether they cook at your table (limited menus) or glass walls to be able to view into the kitchen.
child friendly/child free sections
Healthier menu choices

Organic options

Bottled water
bathroom attendence should be everywhere no matter what state ( gives people more jobs out there on the market ) and also a Casino can't hurt either prime time entertainment for all ages. ( Casinos with no age limit).
Child-free seating....like smoke free seating.
A toy basket for little kids, when inconsiderate people don't bring diversions for their screaming kids.
