Are vegans opposed to eating at restaurants that offer animal by-product items?

Do vegans dine at restaurants that offer meat and other animal related food items? Is it common or uncommon for them to do so? Thank you very much for any help. Are vegans opposed to eating at restaurants that offer animal by-product items?
I eat at non-vegetarian restaurants when relatives visit me or I visit them. None of them are vegetarian so they aren't going to be able to make me vegan food, and I know they aren't going to eat vegan food I make them. I can usually find something to eat at any restaurant, even if it ends up being just a salad with no dressing.
A lot of it depends on how militant they are, and if they have a lot of non-vegan friends. Most of my vegan friends will, but I have known some in the past who were very particular about it and refused to go anywhere near animal products, which meant they were rather difficult to be around. Are vegans opposed to eating at restaurants that offer animal by-product items?
I always try and avoid those situations, but luckily most of my family are very supportive so they will find a restaurant that is at least Vegetarian.
Most vegans don't eat out much but don't mind occasionally eating out with their friends at a restaurant where they do some sort of vegan option and all the friends are eating meat
i used to only eat at vegan restaurants, because i would scheeve if i thought about the forks and plates too much and that they had dead animals on them, but now i do on occasion eat out at omni restaurants. it helps to keep vegan items on the menu
